What are Spoken links?
By turning on this feature in ResponsiveVoice, the text of all hyperlinks in your page (not the address) will be read out loud when the user hovers over them.
Why are Spoken links useful?
Spoken links are an accessibility feature: many accessibility systems rely on spoken elements in webpages, so that a user can understand the content of a link (and therefore its destination) just by keyboard navigation or hovering over it.
How do I turn on Spoken links?
After logging into your ResponsiveVoice dashboard, you will find the checkmark to turn this feature on on the right, “Spoken page links”. Make sure the option is checked, save, and the feature will be added to your website!
Awesome! Where can I try this?
Spoken links are available for both versions of the ResponsiveVoice Pro and Free. You can try the full-featured ResponsiveVoice Pro here!
I still have questions!
No problem, ResponsiveVoice Support is there to answer those questions! You can reach Support from the Contact page.
