ResponsiveVoice UK English text to speech (both male and female) is supported natively in Chrome desktop, Safari, and iOS. Chrome on Android does support UK English Male in the operating system, but it is not accessible to the browser, so ResponsiveVoice falls back to UK English Female as the best case available. The UK English Female voice is also used in browsers that do not natively support both versions, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Opera.
We provide both male and female versions of the main voice (“UK English Male” and “UK English Female”), which are supported in Chrome for desktop, OSX Safari, and iOS Chrome and Safari. Rating: 10/10
